A Tour Links Putting Green will also be in attendance at the event as Tour Links joins with the PGA and proves once more the ability to build a Tour Links Putting Green virtually anywhere.
Tour Links at the request of the PGA of America brings the 15′ x 17 putting golf green to the New York Stock Exchange anfor the Cory Pavin Ryder Cup announcement media event.

As the energy rises in anticipation of the Irish Open this coming weekend, winner of the US Open Championship, Graeme McDowell seems to have issued himself a challenge.
After shooting his first 59 while playing in Northern Ireland with his father uncle and friend; it has been said that he seems to feel this competition could be his chance to repeat that feat to achieve the first 59 of the European Tour if the course conditions for the Irish Open stay as favorable as he thinks they may.
He will have some stiff competition for a win at Killarney Golf and Fishing Club this weekend including his good friend Rory McIlroy who is the odds favorite. This begs the question, how many 59s might we see? This could be a very exciting weekend at the European Open.

Recycled Materials in Every Putting Green
The recent price spike in oil and resin prices has made the ability to locate adequate supplies of recycled materials a bit of a challenge but one we work every day to overcome. To date Tour Links has used as estimated 2.5million pounds of recycled materials to create our indoor/outdoor putting greens.
Facts About Our Portable Modular Putting Green Panel System:
- To date we have used over 1,250 tons of material – saving it from land fills
- Most recycled material come from post consumer products such as bottles and containers
- Recycled materials made from car bumpers make the strongest putting green panels
- Black panels have the highest UV rating due to the high carbon content in black colorant.
What is so interesting is the types of materials that can find their way in to products that are used every day. From stretch wrap that is used to secure boxes to pallets, to used diapers, the sources are vast.
Early on, much of our product was made from plastic car bumpers but in many cases major manufacturers across the globe have found the necessity of utilizing their scrap to reduce cost. What was once given away for free is now sold at a premium. The world is definitely going green and many are profiting from this much needed movement. With proper sophisticated compounding processes these seemingly useless scrap products can be reengineered into many of the products we come to rely on every day.

One of the places that I have always wanted to play a round of golf at is St. Andrews. Now that the 2010 British Open Championship is coming up next week, what are your predictions? Who do you think is the favorite to win?
A good friend of mine told me that when he is putting within 5 feet of the hole, he now looks at the cup and not at the ball. This technique is becoming a lot more popular among players today. What practice regiment do you use to improve your putting game?
Thanks to the folks at the New City Parks Foundation and the staff of Trump Towers, Golf Digest and Callaway for making the final event of the City Parks Foundation Putting Challenge a huge success.
Special guests Donald Trump and Ivanka Trump where both impressed with the beautiful Tour Links 18 x 23 Designer Green that was constructed in just a few hours in the main lobby on 5th Ave. Just for the record Mr. Trump drained a 15 ft putt on the first attempt to the delight of the large crowd.
Congratulations to Graeme McDowell on his win at the US Open Golf Tournament at Pebble Beach! While watching the tournament it has never been made clearer just how important putting is to the golf game when the score really counts!
