TOUR LINKS PUTTING GREENS HELP CELEBRATE THE 116TH U.S. OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP
The paved plaza at FOX News Headquarters provided the perfect location for the U.S. Open interactive display. Tour Links panels were cut and fabricated in our warehouse in St. Petersburg, Florida to be easily installed in New York City. Computer cut foam contours, along with additional foam sheets provided the challenging contoured putts the client demanded. Computer cut fringe and turf made easy work of this fast paced installation. Nearly 1,500 pounds of sand and over 200 live plants were brought on site to create the look and feel of Oakmont Country Club’s 3rd and 4th holes. The iconic church pew bunker proved to be a challenging yet essential part of this tribute to Oakmont Country Club. Flags and tee markers delivered to us directly from the officials at the U.S. Open were the icing on the cake for this one-of-a-kind display.
JHE Production skillfully crafted the backdrops, leaderboard, and interactive displays which surrounded the area fulfilling this fan-friendly interactive experience. New York residents and visitors to the city had a chance to step up and try their putting skills on one of the most challenging courses on tour.
Creative Sport Concepts and Tour Links are proud to have had the opportunity to share this amazing golfing experience with veterans of the United States Armed Services and thank them for their service.
FOX News anchor Katie Nolan hits the Links to test her skills at the mini Oakmont Country Club.
I want to personally thank all of my staff for helping make my dream a reality.
